Choosing what to do on your stag weekend

Choosing an activity for your stag weekend
Gone are the days when a stag weekend meant a few quiet pints down the pub with a couple of friends and maybe your old man. The stag industry is booming, which is good news if you’re looking to book a stag weekend because it means the choice of what to do is almost endless. If  you’re thinking about planning a memorable last weekend of freedom then there’s a few things you should bear in mind before you call round the guys and round them up for a the best stag weekend you’ve ever known!

Where to go
There are some cracking stag weekend destinations in the UK and abroad depending on what it is you want to do and what the other guys in your stag party like. If you’re looking for a no holds barred, party all night kind of affair then there are some fantastic European destinations which have become so much more accessible since low cost air fare. Why not think about Amsterdam, with its smoking cafes and unique red light district. It’s a city of sinful indulgence that will leave you feeling exhausted and entertained! If you’re thinking of staying in the UK then you have a great choice of big city party places like London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds for starters, or maybe some sunshine and beaches are more your style? Head to Newquay, Brighton, Torquay or Blackpool if you’re looking for a fun and friendly seaside stag weekend

What to do during the day
On your stag weekend you can either spend your time chilling out with your buddies or having a bit of rough and tumble in the day time. If you’re looking for action and adventure then chances are you would enjoy a firm stag weekend favourite like paintballing, where you get to hunt stalk and shoot around a paintball battlefield. Perhaps you’d prefer something faster on four wheels? Why not check out quad bike trekking or rage buggies where you can expect a lot of guzzle, growl and mud. If you’re thinking you’d like to get in some quality time with your mates and relax then think about going for a a sophisticated round of golf or perhaps sink a few beers out on  a boat whilst sea fishing? If you weally want to experience the extreme then there’s always skiing, caving or abseiling or even semi-automatic gun firing!

What to do during the night
The evening is when things really get lively on a stag weekend and if you’re stag party takes you to a location in the UK then it mostly boils down to a few fine elements that we have come to know and love on our stag weekends. Firstly, if you have the patience and the appetite line your stomachs with some fine food in a restaurant before heading out to sample the pubs and bars in the area. Then why not go to a gentleman’s club and be entertained by some very talented dancing ladies before hitting the nightclub and showing off some moves of your own. After you’ve danced and drank the perfect late night venue to hit is the casino, where even if you don’t gamble you can have a chat to your mates, get something to eat and continue with the merriment.
